Upcoming Safe Riding Programme Sessions

Background

The Safe Riding Programme (SRP) aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills to ride safe to ensure safe and harmonious journeys for yourself and other commuters. The programme is open to cyclists and users of personal mobility devices (PMDs) such as electric scooters.

The SRP comprises of a guidebook and practical session.

Guidebook

The SRP guidebook is a comprehensive and essential resource for safe riding in Singapore. Use this as a handy reference on how to ride safe. Click on the coloured boxes to access the materials for each module. You can also download the course materials in Chinese, Malay, Tamil and Bengali.

Practical Session

SRP 2

Are you a safe rider? The 90-minute SRP practical session covers the must-have components from the syllabus. Trainers will guide you through a fun training circuit where you will practise essential skills to ride safe and learn the new rules and code of conduct under the Active Mobility Act.

The SRP practical session, which is free to the public and open to those who ride bicycles or PMDs, will be made available from February 2018. Devices and helmets will be provided for use during the session.
